SUNSHINE STUPIDLY

More things I'll miss. The bedroom window here faces east, towards the Sandias. Morning makes no bones about arriving, even prior, the Morning Star glitters through the curtain. Then it slowly lights the sky, first from behind the mountains, creating a glow, and if there are clouds, a light show of blue, pink, and orange. Once it breaks the top, it illuminates the curtain and the room. It is the perfect wake up (except if want to sleep in, which I haven't ever been able to do here). It is slow....Then it's to the chickens. I am going to miss Pancake(pronounce his name as if it is a Spanish pronunciation) and the Hens (Goldie, Greybeard, Pecker, and the nameless three).
